Tales is the true story of the
sudden onset of a life threatening heart condition, its treatment,
and the life altering consequences of the condition all told from
the unique perspective of the hilarious Marcelo Illarmo. Tales entertained full
houses at IB last June and was widely praised. Mogolov.com said,
"There are moments in the show that are beautiful, others incredibly
sad, but the inescapable force that drives the show is not the medical
condition; it's the performer's sense of humor. Marcelo's mined
a life-changing personal experience for the material to build a
show that is neither memoir nor self-therapy ... It's a portrait
of a person adjusting and learning (and laughing a lot)."
